Introducing Waygoz: A new way to trade games

On Monday Night, Waygoz celebrated the launch of their free online service that offers gamers a new way to trade video games.

Waygoz.com is essentially a social network designed for the sole purpose of finding gamers in your locality for arranging trades. Even in its current iteration, limited to the Greater Toronto Area, and with a ‘Beta’ tag slapped on the logo, it’s a rather accomplished product. Continue reading

Hands on with Rage at Eurogamer Expo 11

[Originally Posted on Sully’s Blog]

Day 3 at the Eurogamer Expo saw the biggest queues yet, but I still managed to take in some very worthwhile developer sessions, and I got chatting to id software’s Tim Willits, who was aptly introduced in his talk as “the nicest man in the games industry” (he initiated a conversation with me and Fin because I was wearing an id Software shirt”). I spent some time with Rage on the showfloor, and here are my impressions:

EuroGamer Expo 11 Hands Ons

That ever-tricky ‘Hello World’ post…

Thanks for joining me at Sully.ie – my online clearing house for anything I’ve written. The place is a bit of a mess at the moment, as I’m moving in very slowly, so there’s plenty missing from my back-catalogue, and I’m hoping to get back to publishing articles soon enough.

Feel free to take a look around, the Articles page features columns and whatnot I’ve written for magazines and newspapers, and the fledgling Fun Stuff page is where I’ll store all the other stuff that I want to share, but can’t very well pass off as serious writing.

If you like what you see, check out my personal blog at ssully.blogspot.com, where I write about everything and nothing in particular, including my cultural experiences abroad, personal philosophies, and my hunt to track down a religiously-motivated toilet vandal. It’s gripping stuff.
